IP Ratings
AnIP rating(Ingress Protection rating) is an international standard that defines how wella device or enclosure is protected against the intrusion of solid objects (like dust) andliquids (like water). This rating helps users understand the durability and environmentalresistance of equipment, especially for electronics, industrial machines, and outdoorgear
The rating is expressed as IP followed by two digits:
